Merry Christmas. So I think I’ve lost my mojo a little bit. I don’t know why, but I just have not been doing my nails as much lately. I wanted to do my nails way ahead of time, but I did not. This is why I am posting so late. I was heading back to family for Christmas and Hanukkah and grabbed a couple polishes and did what I could with what I had. I am just struggling with what to do with my nails lately. What are you gonna do? Did you know that tonight is both Christmas and Hanukkah? How fun!
I had all these awesome nail art ideas, but because I couldn’t get my act together to do my nails, I ended up doing them yesterday. Therefore, I knew I was going to ruin them with lots of cooking and did not want to spend much time on them. I didn’t have all the right colors, but I did what I could with what I had.
Here are the festive colors. The GB red is perfect Christmas holiday red.
- Red: Girly Bits Sleigh My Name
- Green: Stella Chroma Leaf It To Me
- Silver flake: Stella Chroma Tangled Tinsel
- White creme
I love the shade of the Stella chroma green, but it was not perfect for nail art as it is more of a jelly and somewhat sheer. Even though it is opaque in two coats, it isn’t the best for nail art especially when you have a busy base color. I still love how this looks and it’s what I could muster up.
The sun came out so I wanted to share the shimmer! I do love how the green jelly creme looks against the shimmer and the flakes in the base. I’m a big fan!
