I recently had a customer ask me an interesting question: Which brand is better—Osaki or Human Touch?
The answer might surprise you.
Many people assume that each massage chair brand manufactures its own chairs, but that’s not always the case. For example, some Osaki models are built in the same factories as Human Touch chairs. Likewise, some Human Touch models are manufactured in the same factories as Daiwa and Infinity chairs. Osaki also has models produced at the Kosei Ogawa factory in China.
So, the real question isn’t necessarily which brand is better—it’s which factory built the chair.
There are many factories in China that manufacture massage chairs, but only a handful are considered top-tier. Those leading factories are known for better engineering, higher-quality components, and more consistent quality control.
On the other hand, many inexpensive, off-brand massage chairs are produced in smaller factories that may use lower-quality materials and have less rigorous quality control. As a consumer, it’s often difficult to know which factory built those chairs.
That’s one advantage of buying a well-known brand. While no brand is perfect, reputable manufacturers generally source their chairs from established, high-quality factories.
So, it’s not really a matter of whether Osaki, Human Touch, Daiwa, or Infinity makes the “best” chair. Many of their models are built in the same factories. The differences often come down to the specific model, the features it offers, and the level of customer service and support provided by the company.
