Makeup artist Chelsea Uchenna, who frequently works with Doechii, brushed a glowy, bronzy shade across the star’s lids and flushed her cheeks with a bright berry blush, finishing with a glossy lip. A sheer, slit-to-there archival Donna Karan gown, stacks of bracelets and rings, metallic Manolo Blahnik sandals, and a vintage Fendi shoulder bag added to the early 2000s vibes of the entire look.
And we can’t forget to mention the nails! We always pay attention to Doechii’s manis, and the Billboard set was yet another winner. The rapper put her spin on the emerging “glass nails” trend, which we’ve also seen on Megan Thee Stallion, opting for a translucent stiletto-shaped set with textured, 3D swirls.
In her powerful acceptance speech, Doechii took a minute to honor her fellow women in the music industry. “We are the creatives, we are the executives, and we are the innovators who are just as central to this industry as the men—clock it,” she said. “In 2025, lack of inclusion and sexism are, unfortunately, still an issue in this industry… And while I may be the one front and center who’s rapping, singing, and performing, I’m not doing this alone. There are brilliant, savvy women on my personal and label teams standing alongside me.”
