If you’ve spent any time shopping for or researching massage chairs, you’ve probably noticed that prices can range anywhere from $2,000 to $15,000 for a fully featured chair. So, are they all the same? Are you just paying extra for a middleman when you could get a top-of-the-line chair for only $2,000?
Well, no. In our industry, the old saying “you get what you pay for” definitely applies.
Cheaper chairs are typically made in smaller Chinese factories with lower-quality components and less rigorous quality control. In contrast, the more expensive chairs are built in larger, higher-end factories with superior components and much better quality testing.
That difference also shows up in the U.S. market through warranty support. A $2,000 chair usually doesn’t include in-home warranty service. The company selling it can’t afford to send a technician to your house if something goes wrong—they might just mail you some parts and offer limited support.
The higher-end chairs, however, come with stronger warranty coverage, including in-home service. That means you don’t have to ship your chair out for repairs or find your own technician. Plus, at Massage Chair Relief, our lifetime labor warranty covers you on the premium chairs we sell.
If your budget is in the $2,000–$4,000 range, I strongly recommend buying from a reputable, name-brand massage chair company. They’ll have proper factory and in-home warranty support if anything goes wrong with your chair.
That’s the best advice I can give you. I hope you found this video helpful.
