Oh my, it’s Halloween time! I have officially moved into fall. I am decorating my home this week, because I am ready. Like every September, Polish Pickup is spooky themed. So let’s get to it–because this polish releases this Friday!
Can’t See Anything is a golden yellow, matte polish with a strong
red/yellow shimmer and black flakies. It’s inspired by the horrible
plastic Halloween masks we ’80s kids got to suffer through. Tiny eye
holes and a little mouth slit to breathe through! Booo! The color comes
from a specific ghost costume my cousin wore one year to trick-or-treat
with me in 1984, but the picture has been lost in moves.
This polish has no cap and will sell for $13.50 for a 15 mL bottle.
Can’t See Anything: 2
coats. Naturally matte then with top coat. You know that I love yellow nail
polish so I have a bias towards this one. I love the black flecks and if
you do an extra pass over your nails with less polish, you could have
more black flex or less. It just depends on your style. On my middle
nail, you’ll see I didn’t do that extra pass so there’s less black on
it. Topcoat allows the shimmer to explode in the most beautiful way. The red
shimmer likes to hide for the camera, but it is way more obvious in
person. I love a two coat yellow, so this one is awesome.
and here is the polish with topcoat. I really how the shimmer just shines. It is almost like a red shimmer against the yellow base and it really makes a beautiful polish.
Well, I hope you enjoyed way too many photos, but this polish is just that fun. I love something that’s different and unique.
