Today, I am feeling much more awake compared to Friday when by the end of the day, I had taken three naps. What happened to feeling full of energy? Is that something that disappears in your 40s? I’ve been told yes, by numerous people and I don’t even have children so I cannot imagine where all of your energy comes from as a parent!
Today’s mask is from Saturday Skin, a brand that I remember being just massive a couple of years ago and then just dying out? I could be wrong, but I feel like it was much more popular about 10 years ago. I picked up this mask a couple of years ago and when looking for masks to review for Sheet Mask Sunday, I picked this one up and was surprised at how much essence was still in the package, but I knew I had probably waited far beyond its expiration so knew it was time to use it or lose it!

What makes this mask special? This brightening mask contains licorice root, bilberry, lotus and citrus extracts to diminish dark spots and bring back skin radiance. It also has tons of peptides! I did not realize this mask was biocellulose, but it is making it also super hydrating!

Mask Summary:
Price: $6.50 USD
What it does: BrightensĀ
Scent: None really. Smelled like a typical biocellulose mask!
Essence Type: Clear and slightly watery
Duration:Ā 25 minutes
Thickness: Medium biocellulose thickness so not as cheap as as the ones that just rip apart with long nails, but not as thick as the masks from For Beloved One
Mask Fit: Good!
Tackiness: Light – which is a bit unusual as biocellulose masks tend to leave zero tackiness, but this one was more hydrating on the skin than I was expecting!
Hydration: Lovely!
Other notes: SO MUCH essence leftover in package!Ā

Final verdict: I would definitely use this mask again, but it looks like I won’t be able to get it from Sephora like I did before, but I do it see available through Amazon, so I might pick up from there in the future!Ā
