Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from Massage Chair Relief, and today we’re going to talk about how to use the Osaki Highpointe 4D massage chair for the first time.
It’s a pretty straightforward setup. You can either press the power button on the quick keys, or press the power button at the top of the tablet — which is what I’ll do here.
Once you turn it on, you’ll see the display screen. Maybe the camera can pan around and show this — you’ll notice three pages indicated by three dots, with four programs on each page, including a demo and their respective names.
To activate it, you need to press the power button so it turns pink — that’s how you know it’s on. Then you can simply select a program. The system will announce, “Acupoint testing, please wait,” and you’ll hear the voice guide explaining what’s happening.
On the screen, you’ll see a message that says, “Acupoint test — please take off the jewelries on the waists and ankles.” I think what they mean is to remove any jewelry from your wrists and ankles. The translation from the original language isn’t perfect, so some phrases sound a bit awkward.
Once that’s done, the program begins the acupoint test — which is basically the body scan. After that, just sit back, relax, and enjoy your massage.
The only extra step to remember is turning on the chair and pressing the power button again to activate it. When you’re finished, you can either press the power button at the top of the remote control or the power button on the quick keys.
When you turn it off, the chair will automatically return to its neutral position.
One thing I didn’t show earlier is the “Restore” button on the program page. You can press “Restore,” and it will bring the chair back up when it shuts off. If you leave that option off, the chair will stay reclined at the end of the program — which is great if you like to nap in your massage chair and don’t want to be disturbed.
So, that’s the first-time use for the Osaki Highpointe 4D massage chair. Very easy, very simple. Like with any massage chair, it takes a little time to get used to the remote control, but hopefully, this gives you a great head start.
