Just when I thought my nails couldn’t get anymore destroyed than they already have been! We shall see if I can manage a set of nails this week as my nails cannot stop breaking, flexing (and then developing a partial crack) and generally feeling awful so instead of showcasing nails for the usual #CBBxManiMonday post, today we will be “nail adjacent” with a product that helps the nails look their best – cuticle oil!

L'Occitane Shea Nail and Cuticle Oil Review

A couple of weeks ago, I qualified for a Butterly campaign for the L’Occitane Nail and Cuticle Oil and it could not have come at a better time as I can literally hear my hands and their dryness! Formulated with 30% shea oil and sweet almond oil, this is probably one of the most intensely hydrating cuticle oils I own that aims to soften cuticles and encourage healthy nails.

Coming with a precision brush tip, though this $30 tube seems like a hefty price, you barely need to squeeze the tube as literally one drop of product is enough for both hands! It also has the iconic creamy Shea Butter scent that I love so much.

Final verdict: The texture starts off very thick – thick to the point where you feel like you have made a mistake and none of the product will ever absorb! Then in a minute, it all starts to absorb and the “white dryness” showing in my cuticle area and even my nails looks completely hydrated, healthy and pink! A lot of cuticle oils are oily or leave the nail beds looking really shiny, but this absorbs so quickly for something that is literally just made of oils! I also use this on my toes because the cuticle area on my toes is even more dry than my hands!
