Looking devastatingly glamorous is a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it. And that someone is Martha Stewart, who just revealed a new bombshell look for “the job I am here to do.”
While Stewart didn’t reveal what the job is—perhaps a shoot for her new skin-care line, Elm Biosciences, or a commercial for one of her many brand ambassadorships—one thing is clear: It called for some serious glam. And her dream team of makeup artist Daisy Toye and hairstylist Chris Appleton truly delivered, elevating the already ever-sophisticated and stunning Stewart to a wowza new level.
“Hollywood glamour personified !!! @chrisappleton1 and @daisybeautytoye did a number on me that actually very naturally (with just a few hair extensions and some beauty products extraordinaire ) made me look and feel like a movie star! I have to look like this because of the job I am here to do !”
You might think of length when you hear “hair extensions,” but in Stewart’s case, it appears he kept her hair basically the same lob length and added lots and lots of volume to create gorgeous, side-parted waves. (Clearly, Appleton is in his transformation era. He just turned Kris Jenner into a blonde yesterday.)
Toye gave Stewart a slightly intensified version of her usual muted makeup tones, like a glossy mauve lip paired with rosy and brown shades on her eyes.
