KBShimmer Op Art, October 2025 Polish Pickup

Hey there! I have another Optical Illusion Polish Pickup today and this time it’s from KBShimmer. This is a glitter top coat, so it is super versatile and fun. Let’s take a look!

KBShimmer Pumpkin Soufflé Hand & Body Scrub – $11 – 400 Cap

As the cool air swirls outside, let the warm notes of this KBShimmer Pumpkin Soufflé Hand & Body Scrub keep you feeling cozy indoors. With comforting scents of freshly cooked pumpkin, toasted pecans and walnuts, and rich caramel, this scrub perfectly captures the essence of fall. Hints of ginger, cinnamon, and allspice add depth and a touch of spice, rounding out this autumnal fragrance.

This is a nice autumnal scent. There is a sweet, nutty note to it. It’s not overly sweet, which is what I prefer, even with gourmand scents. Nice and perfectly seasonal.

KBShimmer Op Art Nail Polish Topper – $13 – No Cap

Op Art is a glitter topper inspired by bold black-and-white optical illusions. Matte glitters float in a clear base, ranging from medium to extra-small for easy application. A wide variety of shapes can be found—shreds, hexes, dots, hearts, tiny stars, and miniature squares. For the smoothest finish, apply a glitter smoother before your quick-dry topcoat.

Op Art: 1-2 thin coats over a creme polish. We are bringing it back to 2011 with this black and white glitter. I found that one coat did give me enough coverage, but I decided to dab like a half of another coat on in some emptier spots so that is why I said one to two coats. The stars were plentiful and even a few hearts came out. This would definitely be fun over a Halloween gradient and it’s super versatile because there’s no shimmer or glitter sparkles and so I miss glitters like this. Sometimes, the extra sparkles and shimmer take away from the glitter top coat.

I wanted to share it matte because it’s fun. I love the glitter against the unexpected fall creme. I know typically people use these with neons, but how fun for autumn? This is definitely reminiscent of the old standby Connect the Dots, but updated with fun shapes! I love the random hearts. So cute. This is great for year round.
