Well I forgot to hit publish on this one, so yes, I backdrafted it for July 31 and I wanted to end the month with some KBShimmer comparisons! Loving these neons so I had to compare how they look to oldies, so let’s take a look!
Playing Heart to Get vs. Pink or Swim
I really thought I had a closer paint to Playing Heart to Get, but I don’t. This was the closest one and as you can see, they are not close at all. Love neon pinks like this.
Totally Outrageous vs. Smack Talking vs. How Low Can You Flamingo?
I really thought these colors would be more similar. How Low Can You Flamingo does have ugly bottle syndrome, but it does come out fine. And I now see that I labeled the nail polish picture wrong but oh well. I love Smack Talking because it does have that hint of pastel neon, and I love Totally Outrageous because it’s the perfect watermelon neon. For now all of these keep a space in my collection.
Push Your Luck vs. Please Don’t Glow Girl

know, you are asking, why didn’t I compare this to Leggo My Mango? Because they were not alike and I did not even want to waste one nail.
Obviously, these are not dupes, but here is my official petition to
bring back Leggo My Mango (and Papaya Don’t Preach!).
Juice the Cutest vs. Let’s Bounce
These are actually quite close. Juice the Cutest has a bit more white and so it is more opaque than Let’s Bounce. Both require multiple coats to become opaque and they are just a shade apart. For now, I am keeping both because I just love these colors for nail art.
Love Bytes vs. Race Against Slime
I thought my Race Against Slime must have faded because in the bottles, these colors look so similar. But just turns out Race Against Slime has ugly bottle syndrome, which means the white has sunk and separated. But the color still comes out normal and this is the bottle after a good. As you can see, these are totally different shades.
Track Record vs. Hugs and Wishes
I knew these would not be dupes of each other, but I really just wanted to find the closest polish. I had to share with you how this is a total unique color. Also, I have not used Hugs and Wishes in so long and cannot wait for some cozy manicures!
Book It vs. Let’s Be Frank
You know, I really thought these were much closer than they were. And turns out I really don’t have anything like Book It in my collection so this one is totally unique.
Crimp My Style vs. Bored Shorts
I thought these would be a lot closer because of how they looked in the bottle, but I was totally wrong as they are completely different shades of purple. Bored Shorts is much paler than actually more my style although I am keeping both.
I love pastel neons and neons in general, so all of these polishes get a place in my Helmer. Of course, I had to do lots of reorganizing and with that, I purged some others lol. I decided this will be the year I have my blog sale and I have over 200 KBs in that sale. I need space! I REFUSE to get another Helmer.
