Quick post today! I am here with August’s Polish Pickup offering from KBShimmer. This one is super shifty and has lots of colors so let’s just get right to it.
KBShimmer Apricot Freesia Hand & Body Scrub – $10 – No Cap
This floral scent is one I could
imagine a book heroine wearing. A fresh scent with bright floral notes
is enhanced by a fruity sweetness, making for one alluring fragrance.
Swirls of color pay homage to those fragrant blooms and sweet fruit.
Made with cocoa and shea butters for a luxurious feel, you’ll want to
use this scrub frequently to keep skin soft and smooth all year long.
For transparency, I am not a huge floral gal. I wish I could smell more fruitiness because I love fruit and apricot is so lovely. Make sure you like freesia!
Just My Type nail polish is inspired by the cover of a book I could see sitting next to my Grandma’s end table. A light purple base shows off a shimmer that shifts through nearly a full spectrum of color. In some light, the purple tones take on a pink hue, shifting to gold and lime. Other angles accentuate the purple, with blues coming out to play. In bright light, gold pops against the purple while the shimmer sparkles for a unique and captivating shade. Two coats offer full coverage for most.
Just My Type: 2 coats. This is the same finish
that I discussed in my post on the Summer Vibes. It is super shifty yet
sort of frosty and 80s to me. It shifts to all colors of the rainbow. It is sort of like a grey-purple color. You do you! There is a little VNL but it does not bother me.
