Infinity Luminary Massage Chair – Introduction

Intro to the Infinity Luminary Massage Chair

Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from Massage Chair Relief, and today I’m going to introduce you to the Infinity Luminary Syner-D massage chair. This is a fantastic chair made in a top-tier factory in China. It’s one of the new split-track or flex-track models and features two sets of rollers—one for the upper back and another for the lower body.

By the way, it’s a strong massage chair. If you prefer a gentler massage, the factory includes a head pillow, neck pillow, upper back pad, and a full back pad to help soften the intensity.

Now, this chair features two rollers on the upper section and four rollers on the lower section. If you’re familiar with split-track chairs, you know they combine the benefits of both SL- and L-tracks but split the roller mechanisms. The upper two-thirds has its own roller system that works the neck and back, while the lower third has a dedicated mechanism for your glutes and lower back.

The upper rollers travel from the neck down to the low back. The lower rollers focus on the buttocks and lower back. So again, you’re getting two rollers on top and four on the bottom—a well-thought-out design.

The Luminary also includes a tablet-style remote and quick keys on the side panel, so you can easily control the chair without needing to use the main remote. There’s also a USB port and a wireless charging pad, allowing you to keep your device charged while you relax.

This chair comes with Bluetooth speakers and a SootheMe Sound Therapy system that plays calming nature sounds—like birds, flowing water, or wind through trees—directly through the speakers. You can choose your preferred sounds to help enhance your relaxation.

There’s also an air ionizer, which is located just below the left speaker. It gently blows air—ideally purified—across your face while you sit in the chair.

It features chromotherapy lights and around 66 airbags placed throughout the chair. In the ottoman, the calf airbags not only compress but also knead and oscillate, creating an amazing calf massage. When you combine that with foot airbags and three foot rollers on each side, you’re getting an exceptional foot and calf massage experience. Plus, there are calf rollers too, which is a rare and welcome bonus.

The chair comes in black or brown and includes a user memory function, which is not common in many chairs. That means you can create your own custom manual program—adjusting techniques, intensity, speed, and focus area—and save it. The next time you sit down, just press the memory button and your favorite program will start right up.

Another standout feature is voice control. You can speak to the chair and give it commands, and in some cases, it’ll respond verbally to let you know it understood.

Warranty-wise, it comes with a one-year labor warranty, three-year parts warranty, and a five-year frame warranty. In my 20+ years in this industry, I’ve only seen one chair with a frame issue—and that was due to a defect before it even left the factory.

Keep in mind that when companies talk about a “five-year warranty,” it’s usually a limited warranty—which breaks down as one year labor, three years parts, and five years on the frame.

The chair also has shoulder airbags that pin your shoulders back during the stretch program, which is quite effective. It’s a wall-hugger, meaning you can place it just about an inch from the wall—a huge plus if you’re tight on space. Just to clarify, “space saver” chairs require less distance than traditional models, but wall-huggers like this one go even further—needing virtually no clearance behind.

Most Infinity chairs are designed for the American body type, meaning they fit a wide range of sizes. The Luminary is suitable for people from 5 feet tall up to about 6’6”. However, if you’re at the taller end, be aware that the rollers might not reach all the way to the top of the neck—especially if your torso is longer than your legs. On average, 6’4” tends to be the most consistent fit across models like this.

So that’s the Infinity Luminary. It’s a powerful, feature-rich chair built in the well-regarded Rotai factory in China. It’s one of our most popular models, and for good reason.
