Indie brand Imaginary Authors has launched Dipped in Chocolate, a new limited edition chocolate-covered version of 2023’s A Whiff of Waffle Cone (II).
We’ve taken the beloved formula for A WHIFF OF WAFFLE CONE and dressed it up with rich, dark chocolate, a dollop of heavy vanilla cream, and a hint of autumn spice to bring you an entirely new perfume built from the bones of the original. A decadently gooey marvel!

The surprise follow-up to A WHIFF OF WAFFLE CONE is a delectable treat just waiting for you to devour it. Many years have passed since we were first introduced in the occult ice cream shoppe at the center of one of this century’s stand-out romances. All of your favorite characters are back but they are joined by a never-ending stream of seemingly dark forces. Devotions once unbreakable threaten to split, entanglements become more twisted, and passions are put to the test. Through deft prose and a childlike curiosity, Dipped in Chocolate brazenly asks “Is the darkness you’ve always feared, secretly the thing you love the most?”
Created in partnership with Salt & Straw, a pioneering ice cream brand based in Portland, Oregon with outposts across the country.
Additional notes include cardamom, sandalwood and benzoin.
