GRIND PRETTY FEST RETURNS TO ATLANTA JUNE 6 WITH NIVEA, $3,000 IN BUSINESS GRANTS, AND A FULL Y2K DAY PARTY

One-Day Festival Blending Business, Wellness, Culture, and Community Heads to Westside Cultural Arts Center

ATLANTA, GA — Grind Pretty Fest, the national festival experience founded by media entrepreneur Mimi Johnson, returns to Atlanta on Saturday, June 6, 2026, with its highly anticipated ATL Remix edition at Westside Cultural Arts Center.

From 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM ET, attendees will experience a dynamic day of panel conversations, women-owned businesses, grant opportunities, wellness, networking, live entertainment, and a nostalgic Y2K celebration headlined by Grammy-nominated R&B artist Nivea.

Presented with support from Kiss Color & Care, BLM Sports, and PHerfectly Balanced, Grind Pretty Fest continues its mission of empowering women through entrepreneurship, culture, and community.

This year’s programming will feature three powerful conversations:
• The AI Effect in Media
• The Pressure to Perform
• Power of the Pivot

Panels will bring together media executives, entrepreneurs, wellness leaders, athletes, and creatives shaping culture and redefining success across industries.

Through its nonprofit arm, Grind For Good 501(c)(3), the festival will also award three $1,000 grants to women in business:
• Corporate Grant — supporting professional development, certifications, or career advancement
• Idea Pitch Grant — supporting women in the early stages of building a business
• Elevator Pitch Grant — supporting women scaling an existing business

The 2026 Grind Pretty Honorees include:
• Morgan DeBaun — Founder & CEO of Blavity Inc. and AFROTECH
• Jai Ferrell — CEO of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta
• Leticia Gardner — Founder of Dynamic 3 Med Spa
• Nivea — Grammy-nominated R&B artist
• Britni Ricard — Founder & CEO of COTA SKIN
• Cicley Gay — CEO of The Amplifiers and Founder of BLM Sports

The celebration continues with the ATL Remix Y2K Day Party featuring live performances from Nivea, Jazzy Tha Rapper, and Pearl Jade, alongside an all-female DJ lineup led by DJ Traci Steele, DJ Princess Cut, DJ Reese, and DJ Queen of Spades.

Guests are encouraged to arrive in their best Y2K-inspired fashion.

“Grind Pretty Fest is about creating real opportunities for women while celebrating the culture that connects us,” said Mimi Johnson, Founder and CEO of Grind Pretty. “We’re creating spaces where women can network, learn, secure funding, be inspired, and still have an incredible time doing it.”
