Fujiiryoki Cyber Relax Pro Massage Chair Review

Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from Massage Chair Relief. Today I’m going to talk about the pros and cons of the new Fujiiryoki Cyber Relax Pro massage chair. This is essentially my opinion and overview of the chair.

Overall, I really like it. It’s a very nice chair.

First of all, it’s a split-track chair, and I really like split-track technology. This means the SL track, which normally runs from the neck down to the seat, is divided into two portions. Some companies call this a split track, while others refer to it as a flex track. The benefit is that it allows for a better stretch program.

One of the biggest advantages of this chair—especially if you enjoy stretching—is that it offers five different stretch programs.

This chair also uses a dual-mechanism system with the split track. You have four rollers in the upper section and four rollers in the lower section, giving you eight rollers working at the same time, which provides a very nice massage.

Another feature I like is something we don’t see very often in massage chairs: neck airbags. These airbags inflate around the neck and include a small nodule that feels somewhat like a finger pressing into your neck. Depending on the program, the airbags can also gently move your neck from side to side.

That’s a big plus because most massage chairs simply include a neck pillow. Having airbags that actively move and massage your neck is quite rare.

This chair also has an interesting feature I haven’t seen before.

It has foot rollers, which is common in massage chairs today, but this one has three rollers in each foot. While that alone isn’t unusual, what makes it unique is that you can choose how many rollers are active.

You can activate one, two, or all three rollers depending on which part of your foot you want massaged.

For example:

  • If you want to work on the ball of your foot, you can turn on one roller.

  • If you want the ball and arch, you can activate two rollers.

  • If you want to include the heel, you can turn on all three.

That’s a very unique feature, and I really like it.

The chair also claims to have calf rollers. Personally, I wouldn’t really call them rollers. It’s more like a hard rubber plate with nodules that press against the back of your calves. Calling them rollers might be a bit of a stretch, but it still provides a good calf massage.

Another feature I like is the health program, which we’re seeing more frequently in newer chairs.

There’s a sensor on the left armrest. You place your index finger on it, select the health program from the auto programs, and the chair measures things like:

Based on those readings, the chair generates a customized massage program tailored to your results. It’s a pretty neat feature.

This chair also provides a strong neck massage, which I personally enjoy. However, for me, the low back massage is a little weak.

I have a pronounced lumbar curve due to my posture—forward head carriage, rounded shoulders, and a forward pelvis—which creates a deeper curve in my lower back. Because of that, the rollers need to reach farther inward to contact my low back effectively.

I can feel the rollers reach the area, but they don’t really dig in as much as I would like.

That said, this is specific to my spine. For someone else, it may feel perfectly fine.

Another minor drawback involves the remote control pedestal.

The chair includes both quick keys and a remote control, so you can operate it either way. However, the pedestal that holds the remote feels a little flimsy. We installed it correctly as far as I know, but it still feels a bit unstable.

Aside from the low-back strength and the pedestal, those are really the only two issues I would mention.

This chair also has a very cool memory function.

Some massage chairs allow you to manually create a custom program and save it. This chair takes that concept a little further.

Fujiiryoki calls this feature DIY (Do-It-Yourself) programming. You can create up to five custom programs.

Here’s how it works:

You create a manual massage program while sitting in the chair. Once you’re satisfied with it, you press Record, and the chair saves that session.

Later, when you sit down again, you simply press Load, and the chair brings up that saved program.

It’s very similar to computer terminology—recording a program and then loading it later—and it works very well.

The chair also includes about 20 automatic programs. You can select your favorite programs and store them in a Favorites section of the remote.

That way, instead of scrolling through all the programs every time, you can immediately access your top selections—maybe your three or five favorites.

Another thing I noticed is that this chair fits larger and taller individuals very well.

We recently had someone visit our showroom who was about 6’4″ with broad shoulders, and this chair fit him extremely well. In fact, out of all the chairs in the showroom, this one seemed to fit him the best.

So if you’re tall or have a larger build, this chair could be a very good option.

The chair comes with a three-year parts and labor warranty, which is a solid warranty.

In addition, when you purchase from us, you also receive our lifetime labor warranty, which applies to every chair we sell.

Another interesting feature is the heat shawl.

This removable heating piece can provide warmth to:

  • the back

  • the waist

  • the neck

Or you can place it over your shoulders so it warms the chest, abdomen, and upper shoulders.

Heat shawls are starting to appear in more chairs recently, but they’re still not very common. I think it’s a really nice addition.

Overall, this is a very good chair.

The listed price is around $14,999, but if you visit our showroom or call us, we often have in-store specials and promotions available.

Fujiiryoki is a Japanese company. The chair components are manufactured in China, but the testing, programming, and engineering are handled by Japanese engineers.

So while it isn’t 100% made in Japan, it still reflects Japanese design and engineering standards.

It’s a very good chair, and I definitely recommend it.

Now you know the pros and cons.
