I last-minute realize that Mardi Gras was coming up and so I wanted to do nails, but wasn’t feeling that inspired to intricate nail art. What is easier than sparkles and glitter? So here we are!
I looked at my old post to find some inspiration for colors since I
wanted to do a quick manicure and sometimes I get so lost on choosing colors. So I looked at what I used in previous
manis to use for this one.
Here are my festive colors:
- Morgan Taylor Gilded in Gold, one coat
- Stella Chroma Long Term Parking, one coat
- KBShimmer Take a Bough
- KBShimmer Awfully Frond of You
- Poetry Cowgirl Beads of Bourbon
I simply dabbed on the purple and green with the nail polish brush. It is not a perfect gradient but who cares. Then I added the Mardi Gras glitter! Again, I just dabbed it on. These are sooo sparkly which is perfect because it has been so gloomy here. I’m wearing my Mardi Gras beads today with my nails!
I usually cook a themed dinner too, but things are so hectic so I am going to make muffulettas! I love these nails, especially because I have been wearing so much pink.
