Back with some quick comparisons! As I swatched this collection, I definitely felt some callbacks to prior colors. Some date back almost ten years! So let’s check out how these colors stack up together!
Holiday Tree-ditions vs Baking Spirits Bright
Obviously these are similar but with different glitters. Holiday Tree-ditions has bars and larger hexes. There are also white glitters and fewer glitters. I like both! They have different vibes.
Deck the Claws vs Cherry Fulfilling vs Big Apple of My Eye
I had Deck the Claws in my purge pile already but I pulled it out for this. Like Big Apple of my Eye, they are both more textured. So now, I am purging both and keeping Cherry Fulfilling as I like the finish more.
Logging Off vs Wreathin Havoc vs Stocking Developments
Just a note that both green reflectives were dried up and required thinning. Before I added thinner, they smelled soooo strong to the point I may have to purge them. I find that reflectives dry out fast, even if they are stored correctly. Anyway, these are clearly very different and after comparing, I think Logging Off is on the chopping block.
A Real Gem vs Out of Sequins
A Real Gem is multicolored but appears almost grey. I like both and they are clearly different but I think Out of Sequins is more versatile.
Sol Blue vs Sleet Deal vs Zoom with a View
These have similar blue bases. Zoom has the dullest blue but the flakes are most vibrant. I know I don’t need all three but I am torn which to purge. Sleet Deal has much chunkier flakes than the other two.
Elf Taught vs Santa Claws
I immediately thought of Santa Claws when I swatched Elf Taught and couldn’t believe I purged it. Of course, I haven’t put them up for sale so I pulled it out. Same colors, but almost reverse! Santa has some holo glitters too. I like Elf Taught much more, so that’s what I am keeping,
How Froze It vs. I Need Space
Again, I pulled I Need Space from my purge pile and back it goes. Similar vibes but I love the brighter flag of How Froze It.
