Adorable five year old caught cutting her own hair

Five-year-old Eva wanted bangs so badly she decided to cut them in herself.

This adorable clip shows the moment Eva, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2015 aged just eight months, whispers conspiratorily to the camera that she is going to cut her hair, before taking a chunk and cutting it diagonally before she gets caught in the act by her mum.

“I’m going to cut my hair but you’ve got to be quiet!” she giggles while whispering into the camera at home in Tustin, Orange County, California.

Eva’s mum can be heard saying in the video after catching her: “Eva, are you OK? What’s going on there? It’s OK! Tell me what you, oh… OK, let me see, where did you take it from? Oh no, oh Eva!”

An Instagram post from January 11 says: “We are creeping up to 5 years of fighting cancer and Eva has never complained, not once! She has been our rock throughout this battle that she is fighting. I just want to sit back and really give Eva the spotlight she deserves and appreciate her fight!”
