It Started With Relaxation But Ended In Surprising Relief!

Did you notice anything else besides the main symptom you were trying to address when you decided to look for a massage chair? Obviously, I don’t think you were even thinking of this as therapy at first—you probably just remembered how good it felt when you sat in a friend’s chair and thought, “Yeah, I’d like to have one of those.”

Exactly. It was kind of a surprise. After that trip, I started experimenting more with the manual settings on the chair. I scooted myself up so the rollers could reach right down by my sit bone, where that tendon is—the one I thought I injured skiing.

And wow, did I find the spot. It was pretty tender, but I thought, “You know what? I’m going to let the chair work on that one area.”

At first, it was uncomfortable. I wasn’t sure if I should keep going, but after a few sessions, I noticed something interesting—the pain I’d been feeling for months started to fade. Not just during the massage, but even afterward.

I started realizing that this wasn’t just about relaxation anymore. The chair was actually helping me work through something physical—probably scar tissue or tightness around that tendon.

That’s really interesting. So, what began as just wanting to relax turned into something that actually helped your recovery?

Exactly. It started with relaxation, but ended with real relief. I didn’t expect that at all.

After awhile, I noticed that my range of motion improved too. Things that used to aggravate that spot—like sitting for long periods or bending forward—just didn’t bother me anymore.

So now, when I sit in the chair, I don’t just think of it as a luxury. It’s part of my wellness routine. I still use it for relaxation, of course, but I’ve realized how much it’s done for my body overall.

That’s great. And you figured that out just by paying attention to how your body responded?

Yep. It’s like I discovered it by accident. I was just trying to get comfortable, and then it turned into something way more beneficial than I imagined.

Now I tell people all the time: don’t underestimate these chairs. They can do a lot more than just help you relax.
