What makes this mask special? Other than the mask being printed, it also contains lavender and hyaluronic acid to soothe, calm and hydrate.

The main complaint I had about Mad Beauty masks in my last review was that they were quite large. That is still the case with this mask, but for some reason it did not bother me quite as much this time. There also wasn’t essence dripping down my neck as with the previous masks.

Mask Summary:
Price: $4.99 CDN
What it does: Soothes and hydrates
Scent: Kind of like lavender, but not really. I wouldn’t characterize the scent as pleasant either.
Essence Type: Clear and slightly watery
Duration: 20 minutes – the mask started to dry out around the edges of the forehead and mouth
Thickness: Medium, but not bad for a printed mask
Mask Fit: OK – a little long in certain areas like nose and sides of the face
Tackiness: Medium which I wasn’t a fan of. I was sticking to my pillowcase.
Hydration: Good enough that I did not realize I hadn’t applied moisturizer!
Other notes: Cute design!

Final verdict: I think once you have tried these masks and the prints they have, the need to try them again is gone. They aren’t the best fit and while hydrating, the final result is just OK. They are fun to try though so I think for a girls night they are great for the novelty, but other than that there are better, cheaper masks that do a more pleasant job of hydrating the skin.
You can find Mad Beauty on Amazon and possibly still Wal-mart if they still carry the brand in their beauty section.
