Kardashian’s “Paris pixie” was the work of her go-to hairstylist Chris Appleton, and it came at exactly the right time. Pixies are having a major moment! Emma Stone treated us to two different takes on the pixie/bixie during her buzzcut grow-out process, starting with a cute Mia Farrow-esque pixie at the Golden Globes and letting it evolve into a ’90s bixie. Keke Palmer cut one in late August, pairing it with her now-trademark copper red hair color.
But the big question is, what does Kardashian’s pixie mean? That remains to be seen! We already know she’s following in her mom’s footsteps, so if it was an ode to Jenner, it was a good one. Or maybe she was just bored with her usual long hairstyles and wanted to try something unexpected. Regardless of the motivation, it worked, because I’m going to be thinking about this pixie for a long, long time.
