When we asked top manicurists to share their favorite fall nail color trends, there were a few surprises on the list, including off-white and sheer blush. But if we had asked Kylie Jenner and manicurist Zola Ganzorigt, the two may have added another surprising shade to the list: bright Barbie pink!
Pink has long been one of Jenner’s signature colors, and it’s also the signature shade of her beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics. For a recent photoshoot, Jenner leaned all the way into the color with a long, stiletto-shaped manicure in a cheerful bubblegum hue reminiscent of Barbie’s DreamHouse—or maybe a pair of her plastic stiletto heels. Jenner’s nails are a lot longer than normal; lately, she’s been sticking with a medium-length almond shape, as evidenced by the “black onyx” mani she wore in a cute video with her pal Hailey Bieber. The star has also kept things pretty low-key color-wise, sticking to French tips or subtle nail art instead of vivid, saturated hues like this candy pink.
Given the “backstage” element of the selfies, it looks like Jenner is probably shooting a campaign for something—likely something fashion-related for her brand Khy, as she’s wearing a pink bikini top and mini skirt that perfectly matches the manicure.
