Happy September 1st! I love the summer vibe, but there is something productive-feeling about the month of September. I just organized my shoe collection yesterday into some stackable clear bins and I think I am finally ready to let go of the press samples that have been cluttering my life! Unfortunately, my poor nails have still been suffering and at time of this nail painting, my cuticle area was also sadly involved.

I had originally purchased Rouge Grenade as a summer colour as in the bottle it looked more magenta, but on the nails, it is just red and I should have just taken the name of the polish more seriously! Like all Hermes polishes, the formula was beautifully opaque in one stroke, but I always do two for longevity and consistency. The shine is incredible even without top coat and this basic red is something I will definitely be wearing again!
