I don’t know about you, but the last thing I’m taking beauty inspiration from is photos of myself at age 17. It was not my best decision-making era, especially when it came to things like hair. But I am not, as you might have deduced, Kylie Jenner, who was already a beauty influencer at that age. And her look in 2014 is still influencing people to this day—including herself, apparently.
On Thursday, September 5, Jenner posted a carousel of selfies and a selfie video to Instagram showing close-cropped shots of herself wearing a very familiar but long-retired hair color: teal. This was the Kylie Jenner hair color of 2014, right before she was about to spring her legendary Lip Kits upon the makeup-obsessed period that was 20-teens.
