There are two common delivery options for massage chairs, and it’s important to understand the difference before you buy.
The first option is White Glove Delivery, also known as in-home delivery and setup.
With White Glove Delivery, the delivery team will bring the chair into your home, unpack it, assemble it, place it where you want it, and remove the packing materials when they’re finished. I do recommend keeping the original packaging for a while, just in case you ever need to return the chair or ship it for service.
The second option is curbside delivery.
With curbside delivery, the freight company will unload the chair from the truck using a pallet jack and bring it as close to your front door as possible. However, they generally cannot move the chair across gravel, grass, dirt, stairs, or other obstacles.
From that point on, the rest is your responsibility. You’ll need to bring the chair into your home, unpack it, and assemble it yourself. That’s when your kids, family members, or a few strong friends can really come in handy!
Fortunately, assembling most massage chairs isn’t especially difficult. The owner’s manual will walk you through the process. Many manufacturers also provide digital manuals online, and you can often find assembly videos on YouTube or on our website.
The biggest challenge usually isn’t the assembly itself—it’s moving the heavy boxes and lifting the main body of the chair into position. Once that’s done, the remaining assembly is typically straightforward.
