Today has been a REAL effort to do anything useful despite getting up early. I have been on my work email all day for client things, which I don’t mind doing since 99% of my clients are super nice. I like being able to give them each proper attention as I don’t often get a chance to do that at work since it’s more about getting things done as they come up as well as answering people’s questions on the go. I rarely get a chance to do something completely on my own for more than 30 minutes so that’s the only reason I work with clients at home – just to be able to get from Point A to B in straight line within the hour instead zigzagging with hours in between!
I finished a whopping SEVEN skincare products which was kind of crazy, but many of them were at the halfway points when I started with them or products I had started using earlier in the year that all happened to get used up last month! Notable standouts include the Omorovicza Magic Moisture Mist, which is sadly discontinued, the Pacifica Glow Baby Serum and the FirstBase Skincare Cleanser which were all AMAZING to use. I also realized that my husband really liked the FirstBase Cleanser for his beard so I will be purchasing more whenever they have a promotion since I have BINS of cleanser to get through!
I NEED to exfoliate my body or I will start to break out so I do go through body scrubs pretty regularly. You can see that I really used every last bit of that Live Clean scrub, even cutting the tube in half and getting ALL that product out! It was a super thick and densely packed scrub so it was hard to squeeze out. Cutting the tube in half actually helped quite a bit! The Lush Orange Shower Scrub was both a soap and scrub so yay for 2 in 1 products! Smelled deliciously like juicy orange, but like all Lush products, got my bathtub and walls orange so make sure you hose down your shower afterwards!
This Kristin Ess Signature Finishing Spray seemed to last a lifetime! I used this twice/week whenever I curled my hair for almost a year and whenever I thought the bottle was done, more would come out! This is a light hold hairspray that doesn’t leave your hair too crunchy and also has a pleasant scent that is kind of watery. The nozzle would get gummed up A LOT so I would basically have to rinse it out after almost every use. I don’t think I would pick this up again mainly because there were just a lot of issues with the nozzle.
Sheet masks used to be like religion for me and while I still believe that I sheet mask more than even the average beauty lover, I’ve settled in at around 2-3 sheet masks/week which I think I need to increase if I want to make more space for new masks to review for all of you! I used up 12 sheet masks last month, but hoping to bump it a little for June! Standout masks were the Anua x Kpop Demon Hunters and Vitamasques Metallic Foil Masks!
